This event will be a chance to watch several short documentaries following Sea Shepherd's work, including 'Blood on the Ice' filmed during the 2005 anti-sealing camapaign, '30 Years on the Frontline' and 'Sharkwater'. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and hear some first hand experiences, so come along and find out more!
Sea Shepherd was established in 1977 and is an international non-profit, marine wildlife conservation organization. Their mission is to end the destruction of habitat and slaughter of wildlife in the world's oceans in order to conserve and protect ecosystems and species.
Sea Shepherd uses innovative direct-action tactics to investigate, document, and take action when necessary to expose and confront illegal activities on the high seas. By safeguarding the biodiversity of our delicately balanced ocean ecosystems, Sea Shepherd works to ensure their survival for future generations.
