On the 5th Oct 2008 there will be an event celebrating the harvest at the Green's Mill in Sneinton, Nottingham
The Urban Harvest Festival is being developed by Transition Nottingham. (for more info on Transition please go to
http://www.transitiontowns.org/) We would all like to welcome you to the event where there will be workshops and information on how to grow your own veg, brew your own wine, make your own bread and generally become more self sufficient in the difficult financial times ahead.
Set under the iconic Green's Mill in Sneinton, there will also be stalls with different kinds of locally produced food, including a local bakery and cake stalls.
You can bring your own apples to make fresh juice using our apple press for free and you can learn how to compost at home.
