Sumac Debates Blurb (3 page pdf) - application/pdf 94K
On Tuesday September 23rd we will critically examine state and big business style approaches to climate change. Can capitalist solutions protect us and meet our energy needs, and if so at what long-term cost to the environment and people's freedom?
The second and third debates will be held on Tuesday 21st October & 18th November, and are entitled 'Anarchy: Prepare for Decentralisation', and 'Alternatives not Agitation?'.
Each debate starts at 7:30pm and will conclude by 10:30pm, with a break in between for refreshments. Please see the downloadable publicity for more information including venue details. Get in touch with us via email if you would like to help stimulate the discussions by talking for a short time about an issue or topic relating to subjects to be debated.
You can also email to let us know you will be coming so we have an idea of how many people to expect. Cheers!

Yep most of the MPs who voted against the seriously dodgy up precedential animal-human embryo bill laws were "conservative", it can be a weird world.
Unions like the RMT definetely get good results, for workers pay& safety+public tranport supporting the fight against nazis physically & financially, new labour & groups like SWP. RMT experiments with workers councils are interesting too, close to the good in the IWW.
You get can get dodgy+black operatives everywhere too,
Heres2 DEED NOT CREED!!!
Anyway Iam off to try & get a electric bike, maybe build a stainless steel hydrogen fuel cell& help my mates who work in public transport.
