Its a shame

"Its a shame its not winter"... I understand the bitterness, but the real shame is that a once thriving autonomous space, which had gained local respect, fell into disrepair and disrepute :-(

should it not be...

...EX asbo? Wouldn't want to tarnish the good work of the centre with it's connection to the current situation. It was only a matter of time after what's been happening. Better the eviction than the other inevitability mind.

Classic scene 'reporting'!!

Presumably you have to already know this story to make any sense of it? Would be better to at least put some pertinent details in like what and where ASBO is and what happened there.

Such a shame

06.04.2008 07:08

I live on Burns St and have seen the slow decline of a once thriving centre over the past 12 months. It's such a shame that the actions of 2 individuals could have lead to everyone who cared about the place feeling like they couldn't be there anymore. A building which had great potential, and, for a while, a place that actually lived up to that potential.
