Sprout About!

Sprout is a new environmental volunteering scheme for young people. The aim of the scheme is to encourage and support young people (aged 16– 25) in running their own environmental projects. We hope to empower young people to make a difference in their local area and support them in taking an active role in tackling environmental issues.

So far, projects Sprout has supported include a forest garden for asylum seekers, a green magazine for young people, and a seedling distribution enterprize. If you have an idea for a project and need some help getting it off the ground, get in touch - Sprout can supply advice, support and funding to get started.

On 30th March Sprout will hold their launch event - Sprout About! Its a day of workshops, stalls and information about environmental issues, and an oppurtunity to bring together individuals and organisations to share and discuss solutions to these problems. Confirmed so far:
