Only lat week on th 11th Feb 2008 he told The Newark Advertise that he would not let any pictures be taken while the animals (lions and tigers) were locked in cages.
He said this was because it gave a negative image of the circus.

Why not just stop imprisoning and exploiting wild animals, Martin? It's not hard.
If what you were doing wasn't so completely reprehensible, maybe you'd manage to take an innocent verbal slip-up on the chin without losing your rag?
The interviewer sums it up perfectly:
"It'll be interesting to see what the listeners think about your circus, if this is the attitude you have towards human beings..."
