Eastcroft Incinerator vote this Wednesday - TAKE ACTION

The County's Planning & Licensing Committee will be considering the County's response to the expansion of Eastcroft incinerator at a meeting at 11.30am this Wednesday 5 September at County Hall.

The recommendation from Mick Burrows, Strategic Director (Communities) is that;

(a) Nottingham County Council has no objection to this proposal.
(b) The proposed scheme would implement a key proposal within the joint Waste Local Plan and help to reduce landfill requirements within the Plan area.

This goes beyond their response for the previous application, which was just to make no objection.

Although this committee does not have the final say, we are concerned that the County now favours the application.

Please email all of the Councillors below prior to this meeting and raise your concerns and objections. Please ask the Councillors politely to recommend that the County Council objects to the Planning Application to expand Eastcroft incinerator.
