Spring into Action programme now online

Spring into Action | 28.03.2007 15:38 | Climate Camp 2006 | Climate Chaos

The programme of events for Spring into Action is now online.

Join Nottingham's Spring into Action, April 5-11, for a week of workshops, musical events and trips to local eco-projects and nature reserves. It’s free, and happening in venues all over the city. The point of this week is to share easy, inexpensive ways to become more energy-efficient. You can also learn about the science behind climate change, from people who know what they’re talking about.

The week will feature workshops on green transport, creative ways to recycle and how to make your home more energy efficient. Trips have been organised to the Hill Holt Woods and Nottingham’s Ecoworks project. There will also be an acoustic night at Lee Rosy’s Tea House, a family day at the Art Organisation, and some valuable discussion groups to give you a chance to voice your own thoughts and learn about local campaigns already up and running.

The programme of evetns for the week is now available online at
