been in England for 5 yrs with her 2 young children settled at the local primary school in The Meadows.
She fled Indonesia due to her uncle’s persecution and violence to her. She is an adopted daughter and her mother gave her some land which her uncle wants. He is a powerful man in a society that has much bribery and corruption. She claimed asylum here but was refused and given 5 days notice to leave on 29th march. She has now got about 2 weeks extension on
this. The exact date of proposed deportation to be confirmed.
She has done everything legally with good solicitors. She has no family, money, home or job to go to Indonesia, a country devastated by the Tsunami. The children are traumatised by the prospect of sudden removal to what to them is a foreign country where they experienced violence from their uncle.
