Setting out from the usual meeting place [Outside the Savoy Cinema on Derby Road, meet at 5.30pm] 'twas a dark, wet and oh so very cold evening. But a fair few turned up to take part ..... Did I say it was cold? It was cold ........
As usual, I've tried to take a set of pictures that show critical mass to be an empowering experience. Hopefully fun to be at. A celebration of the alternatives to the existing 'car culture' Being so dark at this time on a winters evening, I found myself coming over 'all arty' and trying out time exposures with longer shutter speed, so that the movement, 'draws' over the photograph. This time though, I thought I would try just a little flash, balanced with the ambient light. Colour is more intense. All designed to give a vibrancy. So, there you have it :-)
