Trade Justice Movement Notts | 01.09.2005 19:02

We are putting on an event on Saturday 10th September for white Band day in conjunction with make poverty history. There are various groups
getting involved including Oxfam, Christian Aid, WDM, Stop The War, Tear Fund and Muslim Hands.

The Event will be held out side St.Peters Church from 12-3 with 3 guest speakers, an African drumming band, children's activities, stalls and petitions and at 2pm a human band of people will formed around the Council Building to celebrate White Band day.

We need as many people there to form the white band, so please come along. To download the flyer:

Trade Justice believe everyone has the right to feed their families, make a decent living and protect their environment. But the rich and powerful are pursuing trade policies that put profits before the needs of people and the planet.
