More support desperately needed.
Hafod Quarry is approximately 2 miles from Ruabon railway station. From the station approach road, turn left onto the main road in the direction of Wrexham. Just before you go under the railway bridge (maybe half a mile), turn right into a housing estate - follow the main road through this estate which will take you to the quarry. Ask any local person to check you're on the right road. Coming by road - from the A483, take the Johnstown/Bangor turn-off (B5426). Turn onto the B5426 heading towards Johnstown (right turn if you're coming from Chester/Wrexham direction). The quarry is at the first turning on the left.
If you can't come to Wrexham in person, contact the company: Mersey Waste Holdings. Their address is 2nd Floor, Port of Liverpool Building, Liverpool, L3 1BY. It simply is not acceptable for Merseyside to use Wales as its dumping ground. We will not allow this to happen and we're sure that many Merseyside people will support us in this protest. If we allow this to go ahead, Wales could end up as England's dumping ground as English authorities use a legal loophole to get round the requirement to cut landfill (if it goes to Wales, it doesn't count).
