"As a GP I have an ethic that says I shouldn't go around killing people and so why should I be forced to fund this activity that I disagree with", she claimed.
Lis handed out leaflets with her co-campaigner Sian Cwper. They both support the Peace Tax Seven group, who want to take the Government to the European Court of Human Rights.
"In Liverpool, they don't threaten to jail you, they just send the bailiffs.", Lis added.
"So I can't become a sacrificial prisoner, although I am going to withhold the interest they say I owe and I am willing to go to court to defend that decision."
