Liverpool Indymedia

Whats happening in the world?

Jack Duckworth | 23.07.2003 21:10 | Liverpool

The coverage of the murder of the two prostitutes in the local media is awful. Its like they are blaming them for being murdered, like there life is not worth that of other women.

Teenager Hanane Parry has been named as the second of two Liverpool prostitutes found murdered, cut to pieces and stuffed in bin bags. The 19-year-old's body was found in an alleyway along with the killer's other victim, Pauline Stephen, 25.They were discovered in St Domingo Vale on Sunday night (July 20).Mark Corner, 26, was arrested on Monday evening in connection with the killings. Murder squad detectives were today (Wednesday, July 23) asking magistrates for more time to continue questioning him.
This was from Liverpool.com

This is so sick. What type of a world are we living in – when young women are forced to sell their bodies on the streets, to get enough money to survive or feed their drug habits to be fucked and used and then beaten to death by fucked up perverts.
There is a relentless class war going on – with the rich attacking us – none stop – look around us endless casualties of the system, the old the young all working class. The fucked up alainated murdering sicko who done this – and the poor women.
One War – the Class War the war to end poverty, the war to bring about justice and equality and the war to end all wars.

Listen up mate this bloke who did this couldn't possibly have done it because he was poor, and that's assuming he was?? Or because he was alienated. People don't commit such disgusting acts because of such flimsy reasons.

There are honest people and then there are scroates basically. Scroates are people you can't ever really understand completely, for whatever reason, usually their upbringing, they just behave like animals. They just aren't on the same moral plane as your average human being and will do sick things like that. It's nothing to do with rich people or "class" or anything like that. Class didn't make that sickoid murder those two prostitutes!

As for prostitution, well people will always try and make money however they can if they can't find work, i.e majority of common prostitutes are junkies. Drug addiction is a sign of moral weakness or some sort of mental problem.. but thats another issue

Class War

You got me wrong the class issue was mainly refering to the people being forced into drugs and prostition - I bet if they were middle class prostitutes they woudn't be having to walk the streets to make money. As regards drug abuse being a moral weakness - reserach has shown that middle calss people spend more money on drugs than working class people, but they dont need to rob and they can buy the good stuff too. I aint trying to excuse drugs - I think most drugs are bullshit - but we need to understand why - working class communites developed problems with drug abusers in the 1980s. And I believe its a mixture of things Alination, lack of hope which casue depression - and the drugs becoming freely available.
AS regards the sicko who killed the two women ( and we dont know who it is) there are no apoligies for him - but to comitt an act like that you have to be fucked up and alinated ( unless of coure you are murdering and raping in war - which is encouraged as a legitimate attack on the enemy).
The Class War brings people together, you can identify the weirdos and the anti-social elements in the communites.
