A Man has been arrested after stealing over 100 rabbits and inflicting tens of thousands of pounds worth of damage to a farm in the Market Rasen area.It followed joint action between Lincolnshire Police and forces in Kent and Sussex.
They worked together following the incident, which had occurred in Normanby- by-Spital on the night of January 6 and 7.
In the process, 129 rabbits were stolen from Highgate Farm. Graffiti and other forms of criminal damage was inflicted on walls and vehicles - to a cost of up to £70,000.
Information about the incident was later posted on websites relating to animal liberation.
A 22-year old man has been arrested relating to the matter.
Stuart Morrison, from Lincolnshire Police, said: "These enquiries are a good example of how police work together across boundaries.
"We are very grateful for the help from our colleagues in Kent and Sussex."
