Birds which are no use to the industry, mostly chicks, are ground up alive in a mincer-like machine.
When the time for slaughter comes, the ducks and geese are hung upside-down and have their throats slit, the swollen and diseased liver is then removed and sold as foie gras.
Please politely complain to Chino Latino about their continued backing of this sickening industry. They are the ones serving it and they are the ones responsible for this animal abuse:

SAMPLE LETTER:
"Dear Sir / Madam, Chino Latino,
I was disgusted to hear you continue to sell foie gras on your menu.
Foie gras is produced by forcing a pipe down the throats of ducks and geese, upto three times a day, and force-feeding them unnatural amounts grain. This causes their livers to swell up ten times the natural size, causing them to suffer. If this isn't bad enough, they 'live' in solitary cages, wallowing in their own filth and can't even move; the sheds which they are kept in often contain thousands of birds kept in barbaric conditions. When the pipes are forced down the birds' necks, their throats often rupture and they are left to bleed to death.
Birds which are no use to the industry, mostly chicks, are ground up alive in a mincer-like machine.
When the time for slaughter comes, the ducks and geese are hung upside-down and have their throats slit, the swollen and diseased liver is then removed and sold as foie gras.
Please stop supporting this animal cruelty and remove foie gras from your menu,
Yours Sincerely,"
