Another Dead Nazi

Antifa are pleased to announce the death of John 'Griff Wood, an active fascist since the 1950's. Originally a member of Oswald Mosley's 'Union Movement', Wood went through the BNP, the British National Front, the New National Front, the White Nationalist Party, the Nationalist Alliance, and the British People's Party. He led the WNP for a couple of years, and was briefly 'National Organiser' of the NA before it split and he formed the BPP with fellow Nazis (and degenerates) Eddy Morrison, Sid Williamson, and Kevin Watmough. He briefly led the BPP, before being sacked, supposedly for harassing a female member, something he had a long and long-tolerated history of. Wood claimed the real reason for his departure was that he was no longer prepared to fund the alcoholic excesses of Morrison and Williamson.

A regular, though reportedly tiresome, speaker at fascist events, Wood spoke alongside John Tyndall shortly before Tyndall's own timely death. Wood's inherited wealth allowed him to buy a seat at the 'top table' of the Nazi fringe, which he was generally willing to bankroll (as he did Sheffield BNP's last general election campaign.) After Sid Williamson had a falling out with the other idiots running the BPP, there was a brief rapprochement between Wood and himself, with Williamson joining the BNP on Wood's advice. The fleeting cordiality ended when Wood was accused of posting information on Indymedia, and the viciousness of Williamson's subsequent attacks on Wood on the fascist forum VNN ('Vanguard News Network') led to his removal as UK moderator and ultimately, (since he was no longer of any use to Nick Griffin in terms of silencing dissent), his ejection from the BNP. Those antifascists who followed the saga at the time laughed endlessly at the silly, and very public, antics of these worthless scumbags.

Unfortunately, antifascists are denied the opportunity to piss on this evil old bastard's grave because he is being cremated. The funeral will take place at Hutcliffe Wood crematorium, Sheffield, at 3.00pm on Monday 3rd December. Tea and cake afterwards at 789 Ecclesall Rd, Sheffield, S11 8TH.
