On Saturday, activists in Leeds protested outside Accent Clothing because of their sale of real fur.
There was massive support from the public, many of whom were going to go into the shop but chose not to because of the fur sales.
Following the police telling Accent they were perfectly happy with what was happening and the demo was within the law, the assistant manager came out and entered into negotiations with the protesters.
A representative and the AM came to a decision that the fur would be removed until the return of the Managing Director, who is on holiday and has overall control over the store, and when he gets back someone will speak to him and talk about the issues surrounding the fur trade. After which the decision will be made by the MD whether or not to continue the sale of animal pelts.
Campaigners then demonstrated outside Chino Latino who have foie gras, the diseased liver of ducks and geese force-fed grain, on their menu.
