Home of Yorkshire BNP man Chris Beverley attacked.

In the same week as the BNP's Nick Griffin and Mark Collett reappeared at Leeds Crown Court on race hate charges, the BNP-controlled website 'Stormfront' has reported an attack on the home of their West Yorkshire organiser Chris Beverley. According to the post, Beverley's windows were bricked, his car tyres slashed, and "BNP Scum" was daubed in paint outside his house.

My, my, hasn't the fash troll or trolls been busy today. "They could have killed a baby" - Funny how you fash always manage to find some, usually imaginary, baby to hide behind. You've had plenty of opportunities to have it 'man to man' and it's always you that run away you cowards. As for why it isn't on the BNP website, the same reason as a recent attack on one of their meetings wasn't put on their website - Because contrary to the usual bleating liberals on Indymedia this is NOT good publicity for the BNP. Fascist candidates might think twice about standing if they knew they stood a chance of getting attacked. This scumbag had it coming.

Beverley is embarrassed by this because it was a revenge attak for Eddy Morrisons car being smashed up by BNP members.

If I recall his one line to Jason Gwynne as he got into his car on the way to the Le Pen dinner was "Have you got any weapons?"

Now why would an innocent BNP councillor ask a question like that?

It was not so much a bricking of a baby as a bit of a falling out between members of the master race. Not something you want advertised while The Blogmeister is in Court. Something to do with ownership of something or other and a bit of settling old scores. What with so many of the faithful in Leeds for the sheepish dogs trial it was bound to happen. Maybe I heard it wrong. Maybe the security Team were all faithful. So attempting to spin the squabbles someone trawled (as in Hull maybe) Indymedia.In the best tradition of the lie of the great man the baby does not exist. But the old scores do.

I dislike violence in its many forms, but as far as I am aware you can't be violent to a house - it is inanimate. No-one was hurt in this 'attack' other than the ego of the person's house it was.

Claims of 'babies in the house' always amuse me. It doesn't gain any support saying 'there was a baby in the house', instead making the person look like a coward hiding behind babies.

Personally, I think the attack was pointless but that is because it doesn't actually achieve much. If it had meant that the person would realise that being a fascist isn't the way forward then yes, but in this case all it will do is annoy him slightly.

To all the children above arguing, grow up. That is to both sides. Yes I know you don't like each other but arguing like children is not going to help, it isn't going to make anyone feel better.

The vandalism of cars outside a BNP meeting by "thirty" members of an "antifa" group is also reported on this site. Bricks were also thrown at BNP security and one of the cars had covered child seat [there was no child in the seat, but there could easily have been].

All of the above is claimed on this site.

Name five marxists or anarchists who has had their home vandalised.

The BNP puts up with the violence against families, elderly party members and the weak members of the white nationalist movement that is encouraged by this site because they know if they strike back it will cost them at the polls when the media blow it up.

I recently saw a picture of John Tyndall from the mid 90s [i think] cradling his bloodstained 55 year old wife in his arms after they had been attacked by 30+ "anti fascists" on the way to a BNP meeting.

Is this what you are fighting for? The gang beating of old ladies for merely holding an opinion different to yours? Thats a lot closer to fascism than we all would like to admit.

It is an open secret that anarchists and marxists only attack "fascists" during daylight hours when they outnumber them at least 5 to 1. Thats why the Antifa won in the 80s.

Now it seems that the far left no longer have the numbers for that kind of thing, they are reduced to attacking old men on street corners and smashing up cars outside meetings [then boasting on Indy about insurance not covering vandalism].

Political violence is wrong, when used by either side. No amount of "but theyre NAZIs!" will justify it. It does not make them less than human. Which means they have the same rights as everyone. And no claiming that they would take away the rights of others DOES NOT justify the taking away of theirs.

I posted this up after seeing it on Stormfront. Perhaps it was inevitable that this thread would quickly become trolled by fascists telling lies, sometimes pretending to be liberals, sometimes not pretending to be anything other than what they are. However since Indymedia are unable to distinguish between genuine posts and the posts of fascist trolls, as is obvious from the highly selective and arguably highly partisan 'pruning' of the comments, perhaps you should either remove ALL the comments AND the "addition" or remove the whole thread. It's a shame that once again Indymedia has shown itself to be so malleable by fascist trolls. As to why I'm not posting this on the IMC list - because I don't want me name giving to the fascists AGAIN.

For the record, as should be obvious to anyone with half a brain, there have been no injured babies or children, only fascist lies. Antiracists, non-whites, trade unionists, community activists, anti-war campaigners are constantly under the threat of violence by fascists, attacks on them in their homes and elsewhere are too numerous to mention. As was pointed out by Warren Bennett (former head of Nick Griffin's security team), Chris Beverley is a 'player', a violent man, who would be viewed as a legitimate target by militant antifascists. In this instance, the only thing damaged was his property, so arguably he got off lightly.

...all, to have a look at the Blood and Honour guest book or any of the other guest books to be found on Redwatch. Carefully read the posts, then consider the fact that the people writing these things are seriously organising to realise their ideas in reality.

Watch the Secret Agent again, listen to the dickhead from Bradford talking about shooting at Mosques with a RPG etc. Now bear in mind that the organisation he is involved in has councillors in Bradford. And he is not the minority in that organisation. There are hundreds of men like that being retained by the BNP in every city, and when Griffin has enough power they will be let off their leash.

Because, contrary to the perception of some Indymedia users, we're not just macho wankers. Chris Beverley is no 'street fighter', just another cowardly fascist, but you can count on him calling the cops. Maybe the people who attacked his house though were young or small, militant antifascism is not the preserve of 6ft blokes.

1. Not sure if this was a fall out among fash, but if this was antifa types, again shows the failure to offer a politcal alternative to the BNP in morley south- and leeds generally. They have fought from fighting a sole ward in 2000 - Morley south and polling 3.8% of the vote- to 22 wards with polls of over 20% in a few others. Oh- and 2000 votes and 32% in 2006 in Morley South

Where is the political opposition- where it matters- at the ballot box?

We are now in a different ball game than 1994. Sicne the council ecteions the BNP have formed 16 new units. And this is the sum total of the response?

2. Were any of those involved linked to the searchlight grasses from Leeds and Huddersfield AFA kicked out of AFA in the late 90s?. A straight yes or no will suffice?
