It looks like they are planning to demonstrate at 8am and not 9am as I said in my original post. I'm keeping an eye on  http://covert-tactics.blogspot.com/ for the information. I will provide more links if and when I see them.

Under the heading of "Manchester correspondent reports", the BNP website states that "Viewers of popular soap Coronation Street had every right to be horrified by a nasty racial epithet uttered by one of the cast’s Asian members".

Apparently, he referred to a single Asian mother as someone living like "white trash" in the programme.

The BNP notice then continues:
"Whereas a decade ago very few indigenous Britons would have worried too much about this, thanks to the campaigning efforts of the British National Party and our position as first port of call for unhappy, angry and disaffected white Britons, this kind of attack, even if spoken by a fictional character in a piece of popular entertainment will not go unchallenged. Oldham BNP are busy arranging a protest outside the ITV Granada studios in Salford and we are urging all viewers who were appalled and offended by the anti-white racist comments to complain to ITV via telephone, post, email or fax."

Yes lets demonstrate against people demonstrating against racism. I can think of a million anti fascist comments/marches and the rest when you took it on yourselves to campaign against racist comments against black people.

Hypocritical behaviour and the behaviour of a group of people with no real ideology. Racism is acceptable when its against whitey.

Apparently the sheffield BNP are doing a demo outside the yorkshire TV studios in sheffield. Can people gather to counter protest at 8am saturday morning.
