Some of the local population were leafletted too outside the local Morrison store.
Local people were also leafletted and engaged at the Morrison supermarket near the factory.
The protest is maintained by SAC -(Safer Communities for Activists) and is aiming to challenge the workforce at Brough BAe to begin negociations with management and unions to make socially and environmentally beneficial items as opposed to their present jobs making weapons of war and destruction.
If anyone reads indymedia postings and has information on which unions are active at Brough BAe the information would be useful to have thanks.
Protest is set to continue and escalate and the next visit will be sometime around the middle of August.
Support for the protests would be appreciated.
Bob Thingy.
