near where i live in huddersfield there are two motorway bridges. the first, on a main road, has a wire mesh perfect for droping a banner. the second is also good. today me and a mate prepared our two banners (one per bridge) hoped on our bikes and rode to the first bridge, where we put our banner that said:
"poverty kills 50,000 daily
make poverty history"
it went well (i hope to get some photos.) and we cycled to the next bridge.
on arrival we did a check for cops and people and it was all clear. we got the banner ready (just said "make poverty history") and we lowered it down over the bridge, just as we were about to tie it on, we heard a police siren, looking down we saw a cop car in a small clearing by the side of the motor way, and a quite cross cop looking out of the window and pointing at us to clear off...... we did, quickly.
i whish id masked up, cos now we are on west yourkshire police vidio, droping a banner so we will have to use a different banner so they dont know it was us next time and mask up.
ill try again tomorrow.
im goona go get photos now if i can work the thing.
