the police came ostensibly cos a man we had chucked out for sexual harassment rung them to allege he'd had his wallet stolen. we feel 4 cop cars for an alleged theft in a small building seemed a bit extra.
We know the woman who put in the police car window has a fine to pay and we are going to try and raise the money to pay it. please contact us if you can help with that.if you have any more info about the man arrested, let us know that too.
the next door neighbour told us that the police had been round to see him and tried to get him to make a statement against us; which he didn't and wouldn't. we also know the police have been in the pub opposite asking people there about us and trying to solicit complaints.
this is the third time the police have visited in 3 months. the second time they threatened to break the door in and send the dogs in. we took an incident number, but it looks like the police stole that, along with donations money.
the police were pretty rough, one woman got threatened sexually (verbally) by a male cop, many of us have bruises. if you were there that night and want to make a witness statement, please come and visit us. this is obviously harassment.
email us at maelstromers@yahoo.co.uk if you want to get in touch.

What did she *expect* to happen? If you put bricks through car windows then you pay a fine don't you - that's the way it goes! Duh!
Actually on second thoughts, I reckon cop-cars are fair game.
The idea's kind of growing on me. Hey, does anyone fancy clubbing together to smash up a police car window? We could have a raffle and the winner gets to do the deed - that'd be fun ;-). Or if we'd rather do it for free then there's a subtle tactic known as "don't get caught"!.
disclaimer - I'm only joking!

For the pigs posting above, go and fuck yourselves. hopefully the bricks will be aimed at your heads next time and not the windows!

i'm all for bricking in the police (infact shooting them would probably be better gain), but really, who do you expect to take you seriously when you sign off with "FUCK SHIT UP AND DON't GET CAUGHT!"

4 points : " " broken siren/lights
5 points : " " slashed tires
100 points: " " burn out
(undoubted winner to the one who burns it out with the cop in it!),
Remember: its not violence, its sport!!

Or was it the petulant reaction of an individual with an ill-controlled temper..?
It seems (IMO) tho make a difference as to whether it's justified to ask for support from strangers to help with the fine.
I wasn't present but the general discussions I've heard about this incident seem to err towards the latter description.
In any case, I was under the impression that Maelstrom was in Info resourse, not a party venue - there's a big warehouse down the road that's better for that. I love a good party and totally support squatting to have one, but when a centre is already under "investigation" having a party going on 'till 4am (in a very residential area) seems to be a bit drawing unwanted attention..?
