Well, 3 months on, Maelstrom, the squatted infoshop in the Old Post Office at Hyde Park Corner, Leeds LS6 is still here.... so we're planning more events for the new year.
And by the way, If anyone needs meeting space or has any ideas for events, then feel free to drop in and check when the space is free or email us at maelstromers@yahoo.com.
REBEL ALLIANCE at 6pm, FRI 14 JAN followed by RECORDED DELIVERY at 9pm
An evening to get together people from all over leeds and yorkshire who do radical, DIY stuff to announce future events or just let people know what they do and about any plans for the new year as well as an opportunity to strengthen or forge alliances and get involved in any upcoming stuff!
We ask that the groups and individuals that want to come are involved in or would like to be involved in anti-hierarchical/diy/anti-capitalist/anti-authority/ecological/confrontational stuff - not political party stuff, although of course you are welcome to come as an individual even if you are otherwise involved in traditional party politics
please tell anyone you think might be interested. if you are coming as part of a group take the chance to discuss with the rest of your group first about what you want to say about your group.
and at 9pm on that nite we are having a "play your own records" session, so bring some music along.
see you there.x
