Queer Mutiny UP NORTH!

Queer Mutiny North is a Do-It-Yourself non-hierarchical collective which aims to be an alternative to the present non-representive, uniformed gay 'society' up north.
Inspired by the extremely well organised D-I-Y festival 'Queeruption', Queeruption represents what was missing in the north of the UK. As a result the group was set up and is now organising a D-I-Y Queer benefit night which hopefully will be the beginnings of many more!
The night will include Queer art, music, bands, dj's, drag kings and a kissing booth! but aside from the fun and games it will be a space where people of all sexualities and genders can be where they are recognised, represented equally and can enjoy a more diverse set activities than the present gay scene offers. How can everyone be represented? well thats the great thing about it being D-I-Y is that it is everyone's night, and everyone can get involved and have choice in what goes on, so that means everyone can be represented, as long as THEY make the steps to do so.
