- Israel is currently wanted for a war crimes investigation by the UN (print out petitions, have them ready), and its war criminals are wanted by Israeli human rights activists http://www.wanted.org.il,
- Israel has one of the worst track records for its attacks on press freedom OUTSIDE its borders (ie. Gaza + West Bank), says Reporters Sans Frontiere's last annual report, and violations agaisnt journalists are worsening still http://www.rsf.org/article.php3?id_article=30038
- Among the victims (or willing accomplices?) of BICOM's pressure are the BBC, and its refusal to air the humanitarian appeal for Gaza, depite its full endorsement by the British Red Cross, Oxfam, Amnesty and other aid charities. The whole point of why Israel's attack on Gaza was wrong was its targeting of civilians, through the siege, the bombings and the ground invasion, and the rights of civilians go beyond politics, and humanitarian aid cannot be denied on the grounds that revealing, and remedying the suffering of civilians is too political.

Earlier this month, London activists attempted an office sit in in BICOM's hq. Despite the fact that all they did was challenge BICOM chair with the numbers of Palestinian civilian deaths, and that they were attacked by BICOM staff, BICOM immediately tried to dismiss the action as antisemitic, regardless of the fact that several of the activists were jewish.
