Since that action Mell, Emma,Irene and 3 others took another action to blocakade Lakenheath in October 2007 and the court has decided to put them on trial for obstruction at the same time as the Lakenheath 8. The trial will be held at Bury st Edmunds court in Suffolk and the defendants would like as much support as possible.

Grow up and quit complaining. These misinformed people are not stopping anyone by protesting lakenheath. They bring no attention and no honor to themselves by doing act like this. Threatening to do something on a tour is probably the worst way to get attention. Because of your stupid comment, the tours will probably get shut down and I will not be able to tour the base. Stupid stupid stupid.

Who's misinformed here ?

Why would tours be stopped because of someone entering the base thru/over the fence ? Random, you are the one who is misinformed here, anyone who seriously wanted to do harm could go on a tour and do it. If 8 peace campaigners can get in that easily it just shows how bad base security is..... The whole point of the L8 action was not to be sneaky but to be open and non-violent in trying to stop the base being used in the radom killing of civilians by the use of cluster bombs. Britain has agreed to sign the treaty banning these bombs - you think they'd do that if nobody was complaining ? And you complain because you think your fun might be spoiled ! Maybe you should learn to count your blessings - YOU don't live in a war zone where you're liable to get bombed.
