In support of VIVA’s national day of action against Foie Gras activists will be holding a demo outside Midsummer House in Cambridge. Midsummer House has been the target of protest for sometime due to its refusal to stop selling the so-called ‘delicacy’.

Foie Gras production is illegal in the UK, 2 local authorities have signed motions against it and many businesses have stopped selling it. However, Midsummer House, a business with a local authority food hygiene inspection rating that is lower than that of a local night shelter, continues to sell this torture in a tin.
