The coverage, whose entire tone is set by members of the clergy and a "Pro-Life" group, is aimed at provoking disgust at abortions, those who carry them out and creating guilt in those who have had them, or are wrestling with the decision as to whether to have one now.
Far from being concerned about handling the issue with sensitivity, as the paper claims, with its shock headlines and huge colour photos of a foetus, all this article can do is create pain to some and worry or even fear to others.
The CEN appears to be towing the anti-abortion line whilst throwing in a few comments from hospital spokeswomen to give the appearance of balance.
