The film

Directed by Alan Miles, 'Who Shot the Sheriff?' tells the story of one of the most exciting mass movements in British history.

The film features interviews and unseen footage of artists from the Rock against Racism (RAR) movement of the 70s and the Love Music Hate Racism (LMHR) movement today including The Clash, The Libertines, The Specials, Ms Dynamite, Pete Doherty, Steel Pulse, Hard-Fi, Misty in Roots, X-Ray Spex, Sham 69, Estelle and Babyshambles.

The film tracks the rise of racism and the National Front in Britain during the 70s - and how a generation, black and white, fought back against the Nazi threat, and there's lots of rarely seen archive footage from the punk & RAR era - including the infamous 1978 Carnival in east London's Victoria Park where 100,000 marched to the show headlined by The Clash and Tom Robinson Band.

The story uses a wealth of interviews with the leading artists and activists who created RAR - many speaking for the first time about what happened - including Mick Jones, Jerry Dammers, Neville Staples, Jimmy Pursey, Poly Styrene, Don Letts, Billy Bragg, and
RAR founders Red Saunders and Roger Huddle.

As well as documenting a great political and musical movement, "Who Shot the Sheriff" links the struggle to stop the National Front in the 1970s with campaigns like Unite Against Fascism aiming to stop the likes of the fascist British National Party gaining ground in Britain today.

'Who Shot the Sheriff?' was made possible by the generous support of the Amicus trade unio

UNQUOTE

when what's left of the human race looks back at OUR history in the UK, they are going to hate us with a vengence. Blair's New Reich, the most perfected fascist party ever witnessed on our globe, is at the centre of the greatest RACIST political movement since Homo Sapiens wiped out the OTHER intelligent ape species (in the dawn of time), namely the so-called 'War on Terror'.

In Hell, Hitler is sobbing because HE did not have the quality of PR and PsyOps people that work for Blair. But then EVERY mass murdering psycho that every butchered people because of where they lived, or who they were, in some significant way called their campaign a 'war on terror'. Hitler famously targeted the Slavs for extermination or enslavement in the self-same way the Blair targets the muslims.

Of course, people FORGET that when Hitler rose to power, he did so BECAUSE he was NOT an old-school right-wing extremist of the German tradition. Think about this for a second. The right-wing bastards of Hitler's (and germany's) past were people who did things like chop off the hands of whole villages full of people in their former colonies in Africa. The "Rock against Racism" equivalents in early Nazi germany could therefore safely focus on the decepit and obsolete 'fascist' movements once responsible for atrocities like the above, while allowing the NEW (and deadly) fascism of Hitler to arise unmolested (yes, I know people some opposed Hitler at the time, but some people NOW oppose Blair too, and that doesn't change my point).

So today, we have the most blatant and sickening acts of state racism by Blair's New Reich party, but a group of people, many whom are close associates of Blair himself, tell the public to see the main racist danger in insignificant (and in reality MI5 infiltrated/controlled) organisations like the BNP.

Blair has murdered untold numbers in Afghanistan. Blair has exterminated in excess of a million in Iraq with sanctions and the invasion. Blair has PROMISED to use nuclear weapons against non-nuclear muslim countries under an every growing list of circumstances. Blair has made the torture of muslims standard practice. All this, and Billy Bragg is PROUD to be a cheerleader for the New Reich. Twas just the same in Hitler's time too, with big time anti-previous-rightwing-party germans flocking to support Hitler's brand new brand of atrocity.

When a person says that they are against the horrors of the past, I get VERY suspicious. The past IS the past, and good or bad is unchangeable. To be honestly against something is to wish for, or attempt to make a difference. THIS CAN ONLY BE DONE BY REFERENCING THINGS HAPPENING IN THE HERE AND NOW. Today, at this moment, opposing fascism MEANS ONLY ONE THING- opposing and defeating Blair, and ending the domination of his New Reich party. Any other position is actually supporting fascism by the laws of consequence.
