Tim, Libra Aries Books | 18.05.2005 14:41 | Culture | Cambridge

Gordon "The Toad" MacLellan will be speaking on "Recognising the Sacred in Everyday Places" at 4pm on Sunday 22nd May, at Libra Aries Books in Cambridge.

Gordon MacLellan is well known in the pagan community as a writer and speaker. His approach is shamanistic & animistic, celebrating the land, its people, stories, spirits, and wildlife.

As "Creeping Toad", Gordon is one of Britain's leading environmental educators, creating celebrations - for adults, children, and communities - that rejoice in the relationships between people and the places where they live, work, and play.

His magical, enchanting workshops expore the world through story-making, poetry, puppetry, mask-making, and movement.

He is the author of 3 books.

Libra Aries Books is at 9 The Broadway, Mill Road, Cambridge CB1 3AH, UK. Telephone: 01223 412 411. Each Sunday, tea, biscuits, books & conversation are available all day (10:30am - 6:00pm), and there is usually a speaker at 4pm. See our website for the latest details.
