Now that the date of the election has been set, Unite Against Fascism is ready to ensure that the BNP don't make the breakthrough into mainstream politics that they so crave.

Hopefully we will have no BNP candidate in our area, so we aim to put our time and resources into supporting other local areas. In consultation with the national Unite office, on April 16th we have decided to go to Daggenham as they are eager for assistance. If you are able to come with us (and we'll be organising coaches, cars or other transport), please get in touch.

We also have 15,000 leaflets to give out, on the days of action and at other events. If you feel that you could use some of these, please get in touch.

There will also be a leafletting with these leaflets at Cambridge United's match with Darlington this Saturday 9th April, meet at 2:15 at the Newmarket Road entrance.

Of course all of this activity costs money, and we're now skint! If you belong to a Trade Union, political party or other organisation that could donate to us, please encourage them to do so. Model resolutions are available on the national website and we are trying to set up a local bank account.
