outnumbered at Linslade

A quick update from Linslade protest camp. Two long rows of trees/bushes lost as protesters outnumbered by lots of cops + security.

Thursday 27th: police ignoring s6, they say it applies only to the tents, not to the roped off area around them. They come into and through the camp and film us almost constantly. Contractors cut the locks off the gate and scoot up the hill where they start cutting a whole hedgerow of trees/bushes. We are ridiculously outnumbered and can't do much except give a few of the cops a bit of exercise ;-)

Sorry it's not the most inspiring news but at least it's the truth...

I won't guilt-trip/arm-twist you cos it's cruel, counterproductive + unhealthy, but if you fancy going up there they could do with support. You'll meet some good people and it'll be an interesting experience... plus it's a lot of fun when we're winning :-)

I may well add more detail later as a comment, too tired now.
