It is sad and ironic that a student travel agency is supporting a regime
that murders students and routinely closes universities.

On 1st March, students all over the UK will visit STA Travel offices to
demand that the company stop promoting tours to Burma. The money from
these tours supports the oppressive military regime, which vicioulsy
crushed a democracy uprising in 1988, massacring students, monks, and
civilians. In 2003, the regime attacked democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi,
killing some of her supporters, placing key officials under arrest, and
imprisoning the Nobel Peace Prize winner.

It is sad and ironic that a student travel agency is supporting a regime
that murders students and routinely closes universities.
