Boeing air tankers to be made in Cambridge

Cambridge Agenda magazine reports that Marshall's of Cambridge is hoping to win a major new contract for the Ministry of "Defence". This would be to convert 17 Boeing 767s into air tankers for refuelling RAF (USAF also, no doubt?) jets in mid flight. This bid is being made in conjunction with Boeing who already make 95% of air tankers as well as most of America's weapons of mass destruction. I think the 500 new jobs they are boasting about are 500 jobs that Cambridge and the rest of the world could and should do without.
