Cambridge firm targeted over DSEi involvement

A group of activists from Cambridge visited the offices of Cambridge Consultants today to deliver a letter requesting them to reconsider the decision to exhibit at this year's DSEi arms fair in London.

The CEO, Brian Moon, was not available (on holiday until the end of August), but another manager received the letter in his place. He argued that the company has very little real involvement with the arms industry; however products such as the aptly-named "ARMS" (a missile-scoring system) suggest that this is not the whole story.

A banner was also displayed outside the building (in Cambridge Science Park), and flyers were distributed to employees and passers-by containing the text of the letter and explaining the issue.
