We have set up Cam Anti War Reports (CAWR) a kinda independent media site containing things like like future Cambridge demonstrations, photos, articles, links to 'interesting' media reports that may have passed you by - anyone rember the HJijack of a Cuban plane on Thursday night??? Reports of the US military in action in Afganistan that pop their head up in the early hours of thursday morning. Links to anti war groups and media sites(I am not part of any named group), links to news sites, a few reflections on stuff, and a light hearted 'best protest shouts' page which I need help filling! Anyone interested in helping out please email me (see site).
The photos are all there right now, but a fully updated site (working/tidy/allthethingsImcrapatdone)should be there by monday at noon. I might even fix my spelling. Please feel free to use any photographs for personal use (clickable thumbs with ~ 1280 x 960, most are 160-250 Kb, about A4). Anyone wishing to use my photos for other than personal use, please be in touch by email (See the site).
I was in Liverpool this weekend visiting family and went along to the 'beatles story' museum. For anyone feeling in need of an antidote to war, I can highly reccommed sitting in 'the white room', a room at the museum with a grand piano with some round spectacles on it, 'Imagine' by John Lennon is playing a little louder than you'd expect, and everything is white.
Make your own blue peter style white room at home! all you need is a cd or old record (better), a hi-fi, and the ability to listen. and an empty washing up liquid bottle (ask an adult to help you when using scissors).
Peace and Love
John
