I, Charity Sweet, of Brian Haw’s Parliament Square Peace Campaign, ....Parliament Square...., will say as follows:....

1. I have been loosely associated with Brian Haw since 2003 and I have been a closely associated member of Brian Haw’s Parliament Square Peace Campaign since May 2006 sleeping on site occasionally with my youngest daughter Miss Maranda Cameron D.O.B 22/03/99.....

Our campaign motto is “PEACE, LOVE & JUSTICE FOR ALL”.....

2. I am appalled that the High Court judge present on June 3, 2010, Maddison LJ, had the nerve to state that this civil case for injunction and possession by the Mayor of London on behalf of Her Majesty targeting Brian Haw has “nothing to do with free speech” and free speech had “nothing to do with matters arising from these proceedings” until it was duly pointed out that he had a duty to facilitate the right of free speech.....

3. I am appalled that Maddison LJ also felt he could declare that Human Rights had not been engaged in open court. I felt harassed and pointed out in open court that I have engaged all my Human Rights as per HRA 1998 and had also engaged my European Convention Rights while he was attempting to introduce and enforce a secondary politically sensitive hoop to jump through in creating a secondary illusive blanket ban/censor on Art. 10, Art 11 HRA 1998 through city bye-laws in addition to the present gag order on free speech, choke hold on freedom of assembly, known as SOCPA 2005 sec. 132 – 138.....

4. I was the first person to erect a tent on Parliament Square with Maranda on 27/10/06, the day before Maya Evans sent up her “No more Falluga’s” weekend at PSG in 2006 and have in a tent proceeding this date and in survival bags on the grass of PSG with a sleeping bag prior to this date preceding this date.....

5. I am appalled that I had to inform Maddison LJ that he was breeching my human rights by denying me the right to a fair trial – Art 6 HRA 1998 as he refused to allow me adequate time to read the claimants case, prepare a skeleton argument, write out a witness statement and pose any response and counterclaims in one day. Maddison LJ needs reminding of Steel and Morris case apparently.....

I find it bitterly distasteful and cowardly that Her Majesty has chosen to hide behind the Mayor and his city bye-laws and agent provocateurs to remove BH by various unlawful methods from outside the gates of Parliament where he has been acknowledged to be campaigning for peace and against the illegal wars of HM and Parliament since 2001.....

7. It is nonsense and pure bollocks to criminalise a person retrospectively for what was once deemed and remains lawful, civil, peaceful and morally correct behaviour.....

8. The Crown is acting ultra vires yet again in connection with those associated with the Parliament Square Peace Campaign (PSPC) of BH and breeching various Human Rights in abusing the processes of law.....

I am appalled that I had to inform Maddison LJ that his courtroom was an abuse of process on June 3, 2010 due to him breeching my right to a fair trial in disallowing me equality of arms by not allowing me adequate time to prepare this case while the GLA, Parliament and HM have had nine years of unlimited resources, both financial and legal to prepare this sideshow.....

21. “What we are really witnessing, is the disappearance of any pretence that the rule of law and democracy exists, when “lawyers” can go to a “court” and get a “super injunction” from a “judge”, to prevent parliamentary proceedings being publicly reported as happened in the Trafigura case. Similarly it is draconian, when the Conservative Mayor seeks in essence a super “injunction” in the sense that he seeks to send peaceful people who do not have his “authorisation” to campaign in a public place, outside government, to prison. It only becomes EVEN MORE important to me to, publicly campaign, when Parliament et al have clearly become almost completely subservient to monopolistic business “interests”. ” BT....
