QUEER: an exhibition of local artists' work in response to "LGBT History Month" and the first open event to be held at The Black Rose Centre, let's make it a good 'un!

Exhibition opens FRIDAY 24th FEBRUARY 6PM.

The exhibition will be held at the Black Rose Centre which is just up the hill from the Riverside pub:

Expect vegan canapés on the opening night and drinks at the Riverside to follow each evening.

Exhibition opening times:
Friday 24th – 6pm-10pm
Saturday 25th – 6pm-10pm
Sunday 26th – 12pm-9.30pm

The deadline for submissions is WEDNESDAY 22nd FEBRUARY. The space is not massive but most installations will be considered. To take part in this exhibition or help organise please contact us at  blackroseart@riseup.net or facebook.com/BlackRoseArt.

The Black Rose Centre is run by Sheffield Social Centre Collective; an anti-capitalist, non-hierarchical, non-discriminatory group. The centre is a ‘safe space’ that rejects racism, sexism, homophobia and all other forms of oppression. The centre is also dry and drug free for your enjoyment.
