But more likely the officer used his Al Qaeda training to help the police, ASIO, phillip duddock and john hoWARd the coward to organise and be more focused in their objectives? Shame hoWARd, shame on you.

SPECIAL POWERS!
SPECIAL POWERS!

AUSTRALIA: VIC: A Victorian court has alleged to have heard that an alleged member of a Melbourne terrorist group met Osama bin Laden in Afghanistan.

But this is another tall tale, no doubt and another criticism of the hoWARd government's nationalist, neo-liberal, fascist and racist agenda, i.e. winding up the Muslim and Islamic community, again!

A bail application will continue today for 29-year-old Shane Kent and 26-year-old Amer Haddara.

Both men have been charged with belonging to a terrorist group even though no terrorist group that they belong to exists!

The Melbourne Magistrates Court was allegedly told a witness made a police statement that Kent trained with Al Qaeda in Afghanistan.

Now who would that witness be now? I know it's a secret?

A secret ASIO spy? Or a prisoner in a gulag somewhere?

If it is a prisoner in a gulag somewhere and is being tortured say, in another country, where they don't respond to human rights and under duress makes a claim, then the authorities here may think that this is information that should be kept secret?

The court was allegedly told Osama bin Laden was at the training camp and that Kent met with him.

But did it go something like this?

'Hello my brother Osama, where have you bin all my life? My brown eyed son?'

'Would you like to have a BBQ?'

'What you prefer sheep? Or goat?

A police officer allegedly told the court he 'believed' Kent pledged allegiance to bin Laden while there.

And what would happen if he 'believed' the world was going to end tomorrow? One wonders! The question is what did he have to show for it?

So sure (giving the policeman the benefit of the doubt), and on the Koran?

'My brother bin, I will follow you all my life for Australian STATE SANCTIONED TERRORISTS IN THEIR WAR ON TERROR, WHICH IS TERROR?'

'I LIKE SEGREGATION IN SUPER-MAX IT'S GOOD FOR MY HEALTH?'

The officer allegedly said Kent used his Al Qaeda training to help the Melbourne group become more organised and focused in their objectives.

But more likely the officer used his Al Qaeda training to help the police, ASIO, phillip duddock and john hoWARd the coward to organise and be more focused in their objectives? Shame hoWARd, shame on you.

The officer was alleged to have agreed that during a police interview, Kent rejected any suggestion that he was willing to be a martyr for Islam.

See!

Haddara

The court also heard that during a police interview Haddara said Australia and the United States were oppressing Muslims by attacking Afghanistan and Iraq.

True in my view!

He, 'allegedly' (the keyword that was left out by howard's abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz), anyway, told police that Australia's foreign policies, the Australian Security and Intelligence Organisation (ASIO), police raids and the media's representation of Muslims were examples of oppression within Australia that theoretically justified jihad.

In other words people were being hostile to Muslims and oppressing them.

Jihad meaning a campaign waged by Muslims in defense of the Islamic faith against individuals, organisations, or countries regarded as hostile to Islam.

Now why would anyone want to be hostile to Muslims?

The court allegedly heard that when asked if he would ever be a fighter for Islam Haddara answered: "I wish".

Haddara allegedly went on to say that the Koran did not allow for the targeting of innocent people or deliberate destruction of buildings.

Haddara's lawyer was alleged to have suggested his client was not as involved in the group as the others.

An Australian Federal Police (AFP) officer was alleged to have agreed Haddara had not taken part in alleged training activities or fundraising.

The officer allegedly told the court Haddara had been recorded pledging his allegiance to the group and a letter of introduction had been written for him that police say was to attend a terrorist camp.

But no evidence was heard in relation to that tape recording or written letter shown or viewed in public or out here in Indymedia land, at least that I am aware of.

Last week the Melbourne Magistrates Court rejected a second bail application by 31-year-old Hani Taha and 20-year-old Abdullah Merhi, who were also charged with belonging to the group that did not exist.

The process of transformation

This is the time when Howard's government is legislating strong anti-terror and sedition laws on the name of protecting Australia from terrorists and terrorist activities; his government must also attempt extra ordinary efforts to provide people of all backgrounds a definite security of their social rights.
