TIMELINE FOR NOBORDER CAMP STRASBURG

Thursday 25th July
Around 100 NoBorder Camp activists defied the ban on assemblies and marched to the police station in solidarity with the prisoners of the 25th.

Today after a long night of discussion and meetings at the camp several small actions and a larger prison solidarity protest went ahead despite all Noborder protests being declared illegal.

Some pictures of the events of the day (Thursday), after the repression of yesturdays action. The activities of the No-border camp had been declared illegal after scuffles and clashes with the french police in the city centre.

Around 13:00 a dozen activists from the Publix Theatre Caravan, indymedia austria and indymedia uk were removed from the Strasbourg city centre. When arriving for their daily noborder zone street interventions and radio shows, the busses were awaited by more than ten police vans and busses and told to go to the noborder camp or have their radio bus confiscated. Wedensday 24th July
This evening (11pm)after the days events in Strasbourg, all demonstrations and actions related to the Noborder campaign have been declared illegal in Strasbourg, where the international action camp has been running for almost one week.

After two days of peaceful and festive demonstrations,actions, street theatre and performances in Strasbourg, today police have attacked a demonstration against a migrant`s dtention centre in Strasbourg city centre. Confirmed reports of heavy clashes with police are coming from the NoBorder Camp radio stream.

Tuesday 23th July The Strasbourg border-camp has seen some successful collaboration between the pink-silver samba band and the so-called 'black block'. A common demonstration followed a street theatre action on Tuesday. Report
